Everything You Need to Know About EE75 High Accuracy Air Velocity/Temperature Transmitters
EE75 high accuracy air velocity transmitters allow professionals from various industries to precisely measure the temperature and velocity of airflow in industrial environments. These cutting-edge instruments use robust sensors to ensure optimal sensitivity, even at extremely low air speeds. The EE75’s sophisticated mechanical design, featuring built-in temperature compensation, allows the device to operate at process temperatures as low as -40°F and as high as 248°F. It also calculates volumetric flow rate and can measure the velocity of other non-flammable, non-corrosive gasses.
Industrial Applications For the EE75

From wind tunnels to drug manufacturing plants, air velocity and temperature transmitters are vital instruments for many industries — particularly those that require highly-controlled environments.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you clean the EE75’s air velocity sensing element?
The EE75 is highly resistant to pollution and wearing, but in certain highly polluted industrial environments, cleaning the air velocity sensor may be necessary. Do this by gently washing the sensing head with isopropyl alcohol, but do not use any mechanical tools for cleaning.
How are two-wire and three-wire current outputs different?
Instruments that use a “two-wire” current output get power from the process, and the signal is carried on the return wire (a closed current loop). Three-wire current outputs have a power supply that is separate from the current output; two of the wires supply the instrument with power, and a third wire is used to transmit the signal.
How do you calibrate the EE75?
There are two ways to calibrate this instrument: one-point calibration and two-point calibration. One-point calibration is fast and simple, but should only be used for very limited working ranges. Two-point calibration allows for much greater accuracy and a broader working range. Individuals can calibrate the EE75 with the buttons on its display module or with its USB interface and configuration software.
