JLC International is a distributer of many different types of industrial humidity and temperature transmitters for varying industries. Working closely with renowned manufacturers, only the best, most reliable transmitters and industrial humidity sensors are offered.

Air is a mixture of different gases. Under normal environmental conditions, the gases have an ideal behavior; i.e. each gas molecule can act independently from all others. In that case, Dalton’s law is valid, which states:

  • Each gas in a mixture of gases exerts a pressure, known as its partial pressure, which is equal to the pressure the gas would exert if it were the only gas present.
  • The total pressure of the mixture is the sum of the partial pressures of all the gases present.

Our humidity and temperature transmitters delivers accurate readings so you can ensure things are running smoothly. Contact us today.

Water in its gaseous phase (water vapor) is also a component of air mixture, and under normal conditions, behaves like an ideal gas. The concentration of water vapor in air is limited: the saturation vapor pressure. There is a maximum partial pressure of vapor, which depends on temperature. Air, when it is at high temperatures, can take more vapor than it can at low temperatures. Relative humidity (RH) is defined as the ratio between the actual partial vapor pressure and the saturation vapor pressure above water.

In many industrial applications, it is necessary to measure the relative humidity and temperature with humidity transmitters or, in special demanding cases, with a high temperature humidity sensor. Many production and manufacturing processes are dependent on the right humidity and temperature; pharmaceutical and chemical products wouldn’t exist if the humidity and temperature were not strictly controlled.

Humidity transmitters are available with many different qualities; however, common features are:

  • Robust and sturdy enclosure with at least a high protection class IP65 (NEMA4X)
  • Stainless steel probes with a choice of filters
  • Analogue and digital outputs
  • The capability to calculate other values, such as, absolute humidity, dewpoint, temperature, enthalpy, etc.

For applications of up to 180 °C (365 °F), humidity transmitters should be equipped with a high-temperature industrial humidity sensor.

The series EE23, EE310, and EE33 are industrial transmitters that are meant to measure humidity and temperature under demanding environmental and process-related conditions. The latter two can be equipped with a high-temperature industrial humidity sensor.

The EE300Ex belongs to the same line of these industrial transmitters, but is specifically designed for use in intrinsically safe applications.

Due to their excellent reliability and long-term stability under normal operation conditions, the E+E Elektronik industrial relative humidity and high temperature transmitters do not require any maintenance. For use in a high-polluted environment, the filter cap should be periodically exchanged with a new, original one. For high-accuracy requirements under extreme humidity and temperature working conditions, the transmitters can be periodically re calibrated.
